The Players Championship - Finals
Play 2 frames of Arcade, Regular and Original
1 Bonus point per Half Cent, 2 Bonus points per Cent
Deadline: End of Season
Overview
Participation in this competition is purely optional. There is no requirement to complete any fixture and no punishment against anyone choosing not to play their match.
Game Format
Game length - Each game consists of exactly 2 frames of Arcade, Regular and Original
Matches are to be played in that order unless agreed by both players. No complaints/objections regarding the order of the games will be accepted or considered once the game has started.
Organizing Fixtures
Please don't badger opponents to play, simply send them one or two messages and if they don't want to play or they don't reply (proof needed) then you will go through by the deadline. Please also post your progress on the Players Championship thread (i.e. when sent messages) as this will help as well.
Frame Points
Each frame won by a player scores a point.
Bonus Points
From the Quarter Finals in Addition to one point per frame you will get one point for each Half Century (50-99) recorded and two points for each Century (100-147) recorded. Any Break below 50 will not count towards the bonus.
Tie Breakers
If players are level at the end of the match then the winner shall be decided by a one frame shootout!!! The game type for the deciding frame is to be chosen by the player winning the last frame in normal play (no bonus points for the decider only the frame counts).
Results
Each game must be completed by the published deadline. Results must be posted on the Players Championship forum. If no results are posted by the deadline then the game will go to default as normal.
Defaults
Defaults will be judged on effort (activity will never count here as it is an optional event) by posts on the players championship thread or by sending the runner the information (preferably do both). If only one player send information to the runners then they go through. If both then the runner decides who goes through, if they can't decide then both players are disqualified.
Players can also request the other player to go through to save a double disqualification, you can do this by posting on the players championship thread or to the league organizers.
Information must be received by 6 pm the following day of the deadline, any information given after this time will not count.
